Biography

Kevin Herring, President of Ascent Management Consulting, has over 20 years of education and experience in the field of Organizational Behavior. Kevin has worked as a manager and consultant in the manufacturing, mining, service, and utility industries. He has managed Human Resources, Organization Development, and Training departments for Baker Hughes, Inc., Magma Copper Company, BHP Copper, Inc., and Unisource Energy. He has worked with organizations of various sizes from sole proprietors to Fortune 200 companies. Kevin has experience in all aspects of human resource management and organization development. He holds an MA degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of Illinois and a BA degree from the University of Minnesota where he studied Industrial/Organization Psychology and Japanese. His certifications include, among others, MBTI, DDI, and Achieve Global (including Zenger-Miller and Kaset). Kevin is also allied with Henning-Showkeir & Associates to bring Consulting Skills, Conversations, and related distributive workplace offerings to results-oriented organizations.
